This
is a very difficult key to obtain. You will
need to get 3 medallions and a tooth from
the corpse of the dragon Trakanon. There are
3 subquests to acquire each of the 3 medallions.
Medallion of the
Jarsath:
Part 1:
The upper portion is a ground spawn in the Swamp of No Hope at loc 50, 2935, -6. It will have a bag graphic. Pick it up and you'll have your first piece. you may have to wait fo it to spawn. It has been said it is on a 12 hour spawn timer.
Part 2:
The
second piece is found on a skeleton called
an ancient Jarsath. He's low 40's in level
and not hard to kill. He has been reported
to stand at loc: 2596, -845. But he is also
known to wander all around the zone. He appears
to be a somewhat rare spawn.
Part 3:
This
Bottom Piece is located on the BloodGill Marauder,
who guards the Entrance to Veksar at the bottom
of the Lake of Ill Omen. His placeholders
are the Bloodgill Goblins. You will need to
kill them until he spawns.
You will now need to find a NPC in Timorous
Deep called Xiblin Fizzlebik. The best thing
to do here is once you zone into Timorous
Deep cast evac. This will place you on the
same island as him. His loc is -5778, 2943.
Hand him the 3 pieces and he will assemble
them for you.
Medallion
of Obulus:
Part 1:
The upper piece is gotten by turning in a
Burnished Wooden Staff to Ssolet Dnaas located
in Warsliks Woods. His loc is 4011, 300. He
is Kos to all races except for Iskar. The
only known way around this is to have a enchanter
charm him. When he is charmed you can hand
him the staff and he will give you the piece
of the medallion.
The staff is known to drop from A Reanimated
Conscript in Chardok. This is not no drop
so you try to buy it in the bazzar if you
wish.
Part 2:
The bottom piece is gotten from a Pained Soul
in Trakanon's Teeth. He spawns near the entrance
to Old Sebilis at loc -1835, -4370. A Spectral
Champion is his placeholder. He is a very
rare spawn so it will take you some time to
get him. People have been known to spend day's
herewaiting on him.
Part 3:
The middle piece is found on a rotting skeleton
at approximately loc 2250, -5150 in the Dreadlands.
Him and his placeholders are static mobs so
you will need to kill Plaguebone Skeletons
and Greater Plaguebone's that are his placeholders
at this loc until he spawns. He is a rare
spawn as well.
You will now need to find a NPC named Slixen
Klex in Burning Woods. He is at loc -681 -1120.
Give him the three pieces of the medallion
and he will assemble them for you.
Medallion of the Kylong:
Part
1:
First acquire Black Sapphire and a Ruby. Head
to Chardok and find a small Ratman named Niblek.
His loc is 510, -100, -290. He is deep inside
Chardok so be ready to make a long trip. Hand
him the 2 gems and he will give you the upper
piece of the medallion.
Part 2:
The bottom piece can be found as a ground
spawn on the top floor of the library in Kaesora.
The loc is 56, -441, -74. It will appear as
a small bag sitting on the ground. The spawn
rate has been reported as 2 hours and 20 minutes.
Part 3:
The middle piece can be found on Verix Kylox Remains who spawns in Karnor's Castle. He is level 53 and does summon. Hits in the 150 area. He is in the Catacombs in the castle at loc -625,75.
Once
you have all three pieces head to Lake of
Ill Omen and find Professor Akabao in the
windmill. Give him the three pieces of the
medallion and he will assemble them for you.
Trakanon:
Trakanon
is a level 65 dragon located in Old Seblis.
Once killed you will want to loot Trakanon's
Tooth.
You should now have all 3 medallions and the
tooth. Head to Emperor Ganak. You will need
someone that can cast invisibility to undead
with you to do this part. It can be done without
it but it's a little risky. There are alot
of undead right outside the entrance to his
cave. If you don't want to chance it go buy
a potion of unlife awareness and use it to
Invis yourself.
If you zone in from Emerald Jungle and follow
the wall to right, go all the way south till
you find his temple at approximate loc -2700,
+2800. Now follow down the ramp and you should
see him at the bottom. He's a ghost iskar,
don't worry he will not aggro on anyone unless
attacked.
Hand him the 3 medallions and the tooth and he will give you Key to Veeshan's Peak
