Using Harmony

Druids have 2 spells for crowd control The first (Harmony) works on mobs level 40 or lower. The second (Harmony of Nature) works on all creatures. These are non aggro spells, meaning that when this spell wears off the creature you cast it on will not aggro on you.

The biggest downside to the Harmony spells is that they only work outdoors. These are by far some of the best crowd control spells for outdoor single pulling in Everquest. They should by no means be ignored. It is very rare that these spells are resisted.

The harmony line of spells allow you to single pull creatures in a area where if pulled without it would result in adds. Harmony basically decreases the aggro radius of creatures. If you pull a creature directly overtop of another creature it will still aggro and you will get a add so when pulling, make sure you pull the creature nearest to you so it does not path overtop of others.

Harmony:

Harmony is a area of effect spell that works on creatures level 40 or lower. Druids get this spell at level 5. It makes a significant diffrent in your ability to experience because with it you can 'break' up many camps by killing 1 mob at a time.

If you have your spell effects on you will see the graphics on the harmony spell taking effect on the creatures. It is very important that you pay attention to this. Knowing which creatures are out of the area of effect range is essential in making sure you have 'harminied' all of the mobs in a camp to aviod adds.

Beware that if 2 creatures are very close together in a camp harmony may not work. It lowers the aggro radius to 15 feet. Usually this is not a problem but you must be aware of it.

Harmony Of Nature:

Harmony of Nature is the upgrade to Harmony. Druids get this spell at level 29. This spell has 2 distinct diffences. One, it is a single target spell unlike Harmony that has a AoE effect. This means you will have to cast it on all the mobs in a camp except the one you intend to pull. Second, it can be used on a mob of any level all the way up to level 65.

The Harmony line of spells are one of the most useful group spells a druid has. At higher levels this spell alone will get you groups in many zones and camps because of it's high level of success and reliability.
