Beginning your Epic

The Basics

The druid epic is the crowning achievement of any druids career. This is a very long quest requiring long periods of time camping certain mobs and in many places a group or a raid will be required to kill a creature. In the end it will be well worth the effort.

The Druid Epic requires the Scars of Velious expansion. You cannot do your epic without it. There are several things you can do at a early level to prepare for your epic.

The best thing you can do to make it easier on you is not to screw up your faction. If you mess up your faction then it will mean that you have to spend considerable amount of time later fixing it. Don't kill other druids and leave the dwarfs of Butcherblock and Kaladim alone. Also do not kill npc's in Surefall or Qeynos Hills. These are the most common mistakes.

You can kill the Corrupted Mammoth in Everfrost. He is level 20 and does nto summon. You can also forage the following items:

Ripened Heartfruit - Greater Faydark
Chilled Tundra Root - Everfrost
Sweetened Mudroot - Misty Thicket
Speckled Moldy Mushrooms - Innothule Swamp

It is not reccomended that you try to actually begin your epic until level 50. Some of the NPC's can eat your items and a GM will not give them back to you.

Faction is a big part of the druid epic. Whenever you are in West Commons it is good to kill Kizean Gix. He is a Dark Elf near the guard checkpoint. He is very magic resistant and he is a shadow knight so don't underestimate him. The faction you get from killing him will save you a whole lot of time later on.

For more faction fixes go to this guide.

Now on to the epic. Part 1
